CHRIS BRACKE has been playing fantasy baseball for 20 years and has written for various industry sources such as KFFL, Mock Draft Central, and Fanball. While he has written extensively about football and basketball, it is baseball that remains his passion. He has focused his efforts particularly on the minor leagues and pitching analysis.
He resides in Minnesota, where he still believes he’s the only Blue Jays fan in the state. His wife (Abby) wants nothing to do with baseball, but fortunately his two daughters (Norah and Ruby) have enjoyed trips to the ballpark and have even requested to leave baseball on when their mother hasn’t been fast enough to turn the channel to “The Bachelorette” or “America’s Next Top Model.”
Joe Carter has a special place in his heart due to past Jays heroics and he’s a livelong Barry Zito fan due to the southpaw’s key contributions to his first of five expert league championships. He continues to employ a logical approach to player evaluation, relying on statistics slanted toward the Sabermetric style in an effort to focus on predicting what players will do as opposed to what they have done.
